Janice Sexton

 I regard all of Nature as a very precious gift to Mankind and my artwork is created to bring awareness to the beauty which surrounds us on a daily basis. It is so near to us and yet in the busy lifestyles we have, it is ever so easy to pass on by without noticing the splendor right before our eyes. I endeavor to awaken one's senses, and bring peace and quiet reflection to those who view my creations.

Since early childhood I have been continually drawn to the endless fascinating, awe-inspiring facets of Nature. I find peace and contentment while walking in the woods on a quiet morning, listening quietly for the sounds of wildlife that dwell within and sketching them for future reference. I sense the wonder of life while planting my garden or tending to my flowers in the greenhouse.

I feel life’s breath while gazing at the power and beauty of the Ocean while taking in the fresh scent of seaweed and salty ocean breeze. Nature in her purest form will always draw me to her beauty and be an endless form of inspiration for my artistic creations.
